This puzzly is from the “Lithograph of Hummingbirds (Trochilidae)” by Adolf Giltsch after sketch by renowned biologist and nature philosopher, Ernst Haeckel.  It appears in a book titled “Art Forms in Nature” that was published in 1904.

Available in 500, 265 and a130 piece puzzle with a quality cut  featuring both regular and themed whimsical pieces.

The puzzly has a vibrant colour palate giving a wonderful visual experience.  It contains many bird based whimsical characters, a few which are made up of multiple jigsaw pieces.  A great fine art wooden puzzle for the puzzler who likes details.
